My new single “Almost Beautiful” is out today, 12 March, 2021. In celebration of the release, I did a socially distanced photo shoot of statues in Dublin City Center. The wonderful photos were taken by Scott Hayes and are the perfect accompaniment to the song. “Almost Beautiful” is available on all digital platforms here. I’ll be bringing out my album as soon as I’m back on the road. Here’s hoping that won’t be too long.

Hi all, Here is my BRAND NEW SONG, it’s called “SCARLET ANGELS”An homage to the healing power of friends and music .Many people believe in beings that guide us from above, but I have found that most times in life, it’s the incredible friends and good souls that mind us here on earth that make a difference. I wrote this song just after the “Woman’s Heart Orchestrated” concerts in the National Concert Hall in Dublin and the National Opera House in Wexford with Maura O’Connell, Wallis Bird and the RTE Concert Orchestra. The concerts were amazing. We wore red on stage and raised the roof, a thousand voices sang along. It was a joy . Out on Friday 13th November. SCARLET ANGELS

Chris Gollon – Beyond the Horizon
As most of you know Chris Gollon and I were creative companions for two years beginning with my ‘Naked Music’ album, when he gave focus and twenty four paintings to my solo music project. A painting for nearly every song and more…
When I played at the opening of his Naked Music’ exhibition in London, I surprised him by singing a song I had written inspired by a painting from the exhibition, ‘Dreaming of Leaving’ that was, in turn, inspired by a song on ‘Naked Music’.
The song was called “Gimme Some Wine”. This song gave inspiration to a whole exhibition on the theme of “Gimme Some Wine”.
I was devastated when Chris, my friend and fellow artist, passed away. In his memory a major solo museum exhibition ‘CHRIS GOLLON – Beyond the Horizon’ is being held at Huddersfield Art Gallery 12 Oct 2019 – 04 Jan 2020. It will be a retrospective of Chris Gollon’s paintings partially inspired by music or music lyrics, from those of Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Talk Talk, Thurston Moore to those that came out of our collaboration. I’m really pleased to playing a part in this wonderful exhibition.

“A wonderful video of my home town, Dublin, Ireland directed by Derek Merren in honour of Irish journalist Veronica Guerin who was murdered by Irish drug lords on 26th June 1996. The song is “Easy To Lose Hope” from my album “SNAPSHOTS” I wrote the song in the weeks following her death. Sadly, 20 years later, it’s still relevant today. “…We Must Not Be Afraid…”
